AT Skiing With Doug LaRoy in RMNP
This image was taken during an AT tour in in the Rocky Mountain National Park. My ski buddy, Doug LaRoy, is seen here crossing The Loch on our way up towards Sky Pond. The weather got a little rough during the AT tour, which made for some great photography.
The Colorado Springs Lifestyle magazine asked whether I had any good winter fitness images, and I submitted this and a few other images for consideration.
It's pretty cool to have another cover on the COS Lifestyle mag! However, I must say I wish the magazine would have cropped the image so that the top of the mountain was visible. The whole scene was just so epic. Compare the mag cover to the third image in the gallery below to see what I'm talking about!
